Committees

1. Advisory Committee

The said committee is constituted for the purpose of providing advice and suggestions to the Board of Directors from time to time. One member from each division is nominated by the Government who possesses appropriate knowledge regarding Khadi/Village Industries and has been associated with Khadi and Village Industries for approximately 10 years.

2. Khadi Rebate Payment Committee

This committee provides advice and suggestions from time to time for resolving issues related to the rebate provided on Khadi and ensuring smooth payment processing.

3. District Level Selection Committee

The following members have been nominated by the Government in the said committee:

• 1. District Magistrate
• 2. Zonal Village Industries Officer
• 3. Lead Bank Officer of the District
• 4. District Manager of NABARD
• 5. Concerned District Village Industries Officer
• 6. General Manager of the District Industries Centre for each district

The said committee selects entrepreneurs at the district level for self-employment schemes operated by the Board and forwards their loan application forms to the bank. During the proceedings of the above committees, the presence of persons other than committee members is not permissible; however, records of the committee proceedings can be made available to the general public as per rules.
